This last Saturday--Molly and David got married. I've been looking forward to this for a really long time. I thought about it a lot in Thailand--b/c I knew I would get to spend time with a lot of my good friends for their wedding. and I was pretty much David and Molly's permanent third-wheel all through senior year, which sounds kind of disconcerting. and if you've followed my blog you know that I am always a third wheel with my family. but it's really not bad with Molly and David. and that's why I am so excited about their marriage. Both of them had a huge impact in my life during senior year when I had no clue what was next. and I am just really excited to see the impact that their little married selves will have on others.
and it was really good to see old friends--that I hadn't really seen much since Thailand. I have seven more weeks of archiving...and then I'm on to my next adventure.
God is so good at orchestrating life events--just how I ended up best friends with molly and roommates with melissa and then just all of us being friends from there-- sort of like how I ended up going to maastricht a semester later than I thought I would...how I didn't get Teach for America and ended up in Thailand. so of course I can wait and trust that Baylor is right for me this fall. God is good, and I am blessed.
