Beautiful little cove in Koh Phi Phi! I spent a gorgeous week at the beaches in the South of Thailand. It was glorious. I went snorkeling 4 times, kayaked, and had 3 massages. I was sad to leave--but then--I had a wonderful return!

Molly has an excellent blog about my homecoming. It was wonderful and her family is great. I really do think we should re-instate clans. I would create a wonderful clan with all kindred spirits. maybe I spent too much time admiring the hippie communes. that's alright--I like my idealism.

and I like America. at first, I was angry. I had to run across the San Francisco airport to catch my flight. I was almost in tears because I thought I was going to miss my last leg of my trip--and I knew I had too good of a homecoming with Molly and Alyssa and David to miss. and no one was helpful--so all through security I was muttering about hating America--but then I realized that was probably a horrible decision. so I shut my mouth. which I should probably do more often.

but then I came home. and it was good.

and then I came home to Waco--and saw my parents! and my dad gave me a baylor sweatshirt--b/c here's the news--I'm going to Baylor graduate school in the fall! God really blessed me with this opportunity. and I am excited to get my master's. so I should start enjoying this long summer. it's really the first time I've been unemployed in 5 years--so I need to work on that. but for now--more photos are showing up on fbook!

and yes, dear readers, I will continue my blog. thank you to all of you--who care about me to listen to my ramblings. its good to be home. but I hope to continue some asian-ness in my life!
